Here are a couple of pics from yesterday and today when both Piper was sick and I was still feeling crummy. Ambry took this one of Piper and me laying on the couch downstairs.
Here is one of Piper holding Natalie's baby doll and sitting on the counter watching me make lunch. She couldn't leave my side today. She kept saying "Hold me, mama" over and over. Poor honey.
Here is one of her watching the kids play. Poor honey just wanted to lay down or be held all day. Hopefully she starts to feel more like herself tomorrow.

- Bic Comfort 3 on sale for $4.99 with $4.00 ECB, use $2.00 coupon from last week's insert, profit of $1.01!
- Nestle candy bags on sale for $1.50 (2 day sale only), I had a $2.00 off 3 and a $1.00 off 2 to use
I lucked out and got a $5.00 off $30.00 coupon this time which made this purchase even better. I ended up only being able to get the 7 boxes of oatmeal, 1 box of granola bars, 10 Soy Joy bars, 1 Advil PM, and 4 bags of candy. My store didn't get the Bic razors in yet. It came to $36.99, used $13.86 ECB's, paid $.14, and got back $9.00. Not too shabby.
The only thing I got at Walgreens was the L'Oreal Age stuff that is for free this month. It is $19.99. Use the $2.00 coupon, I think from 2 weeks ago insert, get back $19.99 MIR and make a profit of $2.00!
I did a lot better at Rite Aid. Here is what I got:
- 9 ft. GE extension cord $2.00 FAR
- GE 6 outlet power strip $5.00 FAR
- L'Oreal Age Perfect $15.99 FAR
- Axe shower gel $3.99 FAR
- Adidas Body Spray $3.99 FAR (use $1.00 coupon)
- Citre Shine Mist $3.99 FAR (use $1.00 coupon)

- Kotex tampons 18 ct. FAR (use $1.00 from mailer)

Everything came to $52.51 and I will get back $54.43 in MIR. A profit of $1.92. Yeah!
All in all, a good shopping day. I will be posting Meijer deals later today. There are some pretty good deals this week! There will also be new pics of the girls, since I haven't put up any new pics for a while.

Now. :) That is all for me tonight. Happy deal hunting this week!

$.67!!!!! I don't know if you can count the gift card but I am...What I mean is that I put whatever rebates I get back on a gift card and I used that on this purchase. So maybe not quite as good a deal as I thought? I don't know. Either way I was extremely happy to only dish out $.67! I also got a mail in rebate for $4.00 back in register rewards that they couldn't print at the register for some reason. So I still have money coming back. Yeah!

- 3 tubes of Aquafresh toothpaste
- 2 cans of Raid
- 2 packs of Pledge wipes
- 2 bottles of Lysol toilet bowl cleaner
- 3 tube things of Lysol Sanitary wipes
- 1 bottle of Shout
- 1 Windex
- Bubbles for Ambry
After coupons, I paid $29.11. Not quite as good as I was thinking. Apparently I need to work on my adding skills. I will get $7.00 back in rebate form though. So I will end up spending out of pocket $22.11. Not near as good a deal as I was thinking. Oh well. Live and learn. I guess for the amount of things I got, it wasn't a terrible deal.
At Rite Aid, I got these items:
- 1 7UP 2 liter
- 1 Lady's Speed Stick
- 1 Duct tape
- 1 Clairol Nice 'n Easy
- 1 Colgate Total
- 1 Garnier Fructis Conditioner
- 1 2-pack GUM toothbrushes
After coupons, I paid $13.69. I enrolled in their online rebate form offer, which is so easy and the rebate will come back twice as fast. The only thing about Rite Aid that is different than Walgreens is that they won't let you use more coupons. What I am trying to say is that they won't let you make money basically on a product. Anyway, after I receive the rebate check from them, I should spend out of pocket $3.71. This was a little bit of a better deal at least.
For next time, I now have a better idea of prices of things. I think I will stick to Target for my cleaning supplies. It is still a better deal there with coupons and then I don't have to mess with any mail in rebates. Now I just need to get to CVS and see how their program works out.
