Here is my AWESOME trip to Meijer this week. It might have taken me over an hour to do--the Crystal Light spilled all over my groceries and the coupons I was going to use. :( The cashier was very nice about it but the manager came over and told me to keep my kids in line and tell them to be careful around the products. I was not too happy about that since it wasn't my fault the seal wasn't sealed all the way. Oh well. Lots of good deals. That makes up for the cranky manager.

Here is my list of goodies:

1. 3 boxes of Wheat Thins
2. 4 Kraft Salad dressings
3. 1 bag of carrots
4. 1 celery
5. 5 boxes of Jello
6. 1 box of Jello pudding
7. 3 Starkist Gourmet Seas
8. 4 cans of tuna
9. 1 Coffee Mate
10. 14 packages of Ortega taco seasoning
11. 6 ears of corn
12. 2 Breyers ice cream
13. 1 cottage cheese
14. 4 Kraft singles
15. 2 Crystal Light dishwasher things
16. 3 McCormick grill mates
17. 2 packages of cream cheese

My total was over $75.00 and I ended up paying $2.46!!! Yes, you read that right. I have to add though that I had $15.80 in bottle returns, and $5.50 in Meijer catalinas. Still, that is an amazing savings. My receipt said I saved $82.34! Sweet, right?

Some of the deals at Meijer this week that I did.

**Coffeemate creamer is on sale for $.99. Use either of these coupons here and get it for $.24-$.45! I would definitely recommend the Peppermint Mocha flavor. I tried it after Tracy recommended it, and it is so yummy!

**Quaker granola bars are on sale for $1.50. Use the $1.00 off Quaker Simple Harvest cpn to get them for $.50 a box. The cpn says it includes chewy granola bars on it. I did this already and it worked just fine.

**Quaker Breakfast Squares--same deal as above. Look inside any boxes of Quaker oatmeal that you have. I found $1.00 cpns in mine. This would make them $.50 a box.

**Land O Lakes margarine is 5 for $5.00. Use either the $.55 cpn from paper or from here to get it for $.45 a tub! Bonus--these tubs work really well for making jam in the summer. So make sure to save them either for yourself or feel free to send them my way. :)

**Chex cereal is on sale 3 for $8.00 and get an instant $3.00 off at register. I bought 6 boxes=$16.00-$6.00 instantly=$10.00-3 $1.00 off 2=$7.00 for 6 boxes of Chex cereal! We will be eating lots of puppy chow and chex mix for a while. Yeah!

**B1G1 bags of oranges. The bags that I got were really sweet and seedless which works out so well for the kids.

That is all for Meijer that I did this week. I have quite a bit of a stockpile going which I am going to share later on this week. This is such a good idea to do at this time when money isn't exactly pouring in. :) As always, happy deal hunting!

Before coupons everything rang up to $52.51. After coupons my total came to $36.36(with tax). I had a Walgreens gift card from other purchases. My grand total out of pocket?

$.67!!!!! I don't know if you can count the gift card but I am...What I mean is that I put whatever rebates I get back on a gift card and I used that on this purchase. So maybe not quite as good a deal as I thought? I don't know. Either way I was extremely happy to only dish out $.67! I also got a mail in rebate for $4.00 back in register rewards that they couldn't print at the register for some reason. So I still have money coming back. Yeah!
On this trip to Meijer I got:

1. 4 boxes of Cheerios, reg. 3.19, on sale for $1.67 a piece

2. 2 grape jellys, reg. $2.09 on sale for $1.50 a piece

5. 1 bag of carrots, reg. $1.50

Total out of pocket before coupons was $18.13. After coupons and tax my total was $9.48. Not too bad since 2 Excedrin regular price without coupons would have cost that much. The only thing I didn't have a coupon for was the carrots. Oh well. I needed some of those anyway.

So there are the deals I got today. I didn't think I did too bad. :) For others who do far better than I do on saving, check out this link to Super Savings Saturday.

Here is a GREAT deal for those who live near a Meijer store. Right now they have Post cereal on sale for 4/$7.00. When you buy 4 items, you receive a free gallon of milk. So I bought 8 boxes of cereal and received 2 free gallons of milk (regular priced at $3.29). When everything was done and paid for I then also got $8.00 off of my next shopping purchase. With all that said, I paid out of pocket $14.00. But with the free milk worth $6.60 and then $8.00 back in coupons, I basically made $.60 cents or broke even if you count tax. Woohoo!!! I LOVE it when I can get good deals on stuff. Also, it didn't say anything about a limit on how many you can buy, so I am stocking up huge on cereal right now. Go to Biblical Womanhood for more great ideas on how to save.
