Total came to $74.79 before coupons. I used 1 CVS $3.00 off $15.00 and 1 CVS $5.00 off $30.00 and 1 CVS $4.00 off $20.00 beauty purchase. The beauty coupon was long expired but they still took it. I wish I would have had more CVS coupons with me but I didn't think my total was going to be near that high. Then I used $17.00 in ECB's and paid $1.92. I got back $16.98. Not too shabby. :) The savings on my receipt said I saved $122.98!

Since it has been a while since I posted on here...again...I thought I would catch everyone up real quick. I had a birthday, I did deals, I was sick, my kids were sick. There, now you are caught up. :) My life is so glamorous.

Anyway, here are some of the deals I did at CVS and Walgreens this week. And, yes, I will be going back for more. I just can't resist a free deal!

CVS...

Here is what I got:
  1. 2 Colgate toothpaste $3.99 each, get back $3.99 ECB each. Use 2 $1.00 printables from here.
  2. 2 Natural Dentist mouth rinse $6.99 each, with $8.00 ECB back. Use 2 $2.00 printables from here. Then send in $10.00 MIR form here. Profit of $8.00!!
  3. 2 Pantene shampoo and conditioner, $3.50 each, use $3.00 off 2 cpn
  4. 1 Pantene hair spray $3.50, use buy 2 Pantene shampoo/conditioner, get styler free cpn. Will get $2.00 ECB with this deal.
  5. 1 Reinventing Beauty mag, $.99. Has good CVS cpns in it.
  6. 1 Softsoap body wash, $4.99, get back $4.99. Use $1.50 cpn from Reinventing Beauty mag or $1.00 cpn from Smartsource insert
  7. 1 gallon of milk $1.99

I split these into 2 orders, and was able to use a CVS cpn $4.00 off $20.00 and a $3.00 off $15.00. Total amount of stuff was $40.93. The reason it is a little bit more is because my Softsoap got messed up. It rang up more and also did not print off the ECB's. :( No big deal though. I just have to find the time to go back and get it price adjusted and get my ECB's. Sooo, I then used the above mentioned cpns, used $18.73 in ECB's, paid $1.81 in cash and got back $18.98 in ECB's. After the Softsoap deal is corrected I will get back a whopping $.51 in cash and get back another $4.99 in ECB's!! Yeah! Plus another $10.00 in MIR...a nice profit week at CVS. :)

Walgreens...

There is actually some stuff missing from the pic above...I picked up q-tips and paper dessert plates for my dad and gave away a Crest toothpaste and 1 Scunci hair tie pack. :)
So here is the official list of what I got:
  1. 4 Chex mix $.99 each, use 4 $.50 cpns

  7. 4 Crest Pro-Health toothpastes, all FREE by doing the above mentioned deal earlier. Also send in for $5.00 MIR #5 for a $5.00 profit!
Total before cpns was $81.23!!! I used the above mentioned cpns, $22.50 in RR's and got back $19.50 in RR's! I used my gift card to pay the remaining balance of $5.91! All of this was done in 6 orders. So, yes, it did take a little while, but it was so worth it!

Wow! It has been a week again since I have posted anything. I'd post more, but life here is not terribly busy or very exciting. Basically the same routine over and over and what fun is that? The only thing I got at Walgreens was the L'Oreal Age stuff that is for free this month. It is $19.99. Use the $2.00 coupon, I think from 2 weeks ago insert, get back $19.99 MIR and make a profit of $2.00!

All right...back by the popular demand of...one...here is my trip to CVS. (Oh, and one more small on in the afternoon...again). First, here is the pic of all my goodies.

Here is the list of what I got:

  1. 4 bags of Chex Mix (2 not in pic...they were all ready eaten by the animals that occupy my home.)
  2. 1 L'Oreal Skin care wipes
  3. 2 Right Guard deoderants
  4. 2 Soft and Dri deoderants
  5. 1 Revlon nail polish
  6. 4 balls
  7. 1 pair of boys sandals
  8. 1 package of rc cars (opened immediately when I got home by Jordan)
  9. 1 pair of sandals for Ambry
  10. 1 pair of sandals for Piper
  11. 4 shell shaped plates
  12. 5 pairs of goggles
  13. 1 Aussie shampoo
  14. 1 Aussie conditioner
  15. 1 Act rinse mouthwash
  16. 1 bubble shooter
  17. 1 Bayer monitor (made $5.00 in ECB's on this one!!!)
  18. 1 Arnicare pain gel
  19. 15 swim rings
  20. 1 baseball hat for Piper (not pictured)
  21. 1 football
  22. 1 pair of sandals for me
  23. 1 Renuzit triscents (not pictured)
  24. 2 Lady speedstick deoderants
  25. 1 car air freshener
  26. 1 small ball

Quite a big pile of loot right? So sweet! Anyway, I think that is all I bought. I had 5 different receipts! So...for the grand total...if I would have paid full price for some of this stuff...my total would have been over $300.00!!! But with things being marked down and sales and such, I only paid $6.23 in cash, used $40.46 in ECB's, and got back $36.99 in ECB's! Woot!

Such awesome deals! These kinds of purchases are why I do CVS. The deals are just too good to pass up.

And if you're wondering what I would do with all the goggles? Well, we have a pool, so those will be put to use. The excessive amounts of swimming rings? Well, again, fun for the pool. I already blew up some for the kids to play with in the house. It is so cute how they come up with ideas and games in order to use the rings. They've used them as life rings when they were lost at sea, they were used as dog's beds...I am sure they will be able to think of even more ways in order to play with them too. :)

Oh the joy of CVS...

Piper got stung by a bee last night for the first time and of course I went into full blown panic attack. I only had Benadryl topic ointment in the house and Piper's bee sting was just under her eye brow. I didn't want to put it that close to the eye. Poor thing...her eye swelled up until it was about half shut. We put a cold popsicle on it instead in between bites for her. :)

So what do I do after that? Make a trip to CVS in order to get Benadryl in the house. I lucked out and they had a great deal going on with it too!

Here is what I got:

  1. 3 dye free liquid Benadryl's $5.00 a piece
  2. 1 dye free adult Benadryl $5.00
  3. 1 Christophe shampoo on sale B1G1 @ $7.99
  4. 1 Christophe conditioner
  5. 1 Revlon bronzing blush $9.99
  6. 2 M & M dark chocolate with peanuts $2.50 a piece
  7. 2 Hershey bags $2.50 a piece
  8. 1 Colgate toothpaste $1.77
  9. 1 Colgate toothbrush $1.77
  10. 1 Bandaid ultra strips $2.99

Total before coupons and tax was $62.50. I had $31.00 in coupons! $9.00 of that was from the $3.00/$15.00 expired CVS coupon. I thought I would try it and see if they would take it and they ended up taking 3 of them! Woot! I then used $21.99 of ECB's, paid $1.52 in cash, and got back $26.99 in ECB's! What a good trip! And I got stuff that I really needed in the house.

Definitely can't beat the deals at CVS!

Like Piper's face in the side of the pic? I opened the bag of M & M's for Caleb to try since they had no milk in them and she kept sneaking up there to sample a "few" for herself. :)

CVS, how I love you!

Here is what I got in yet another trip this week:

  1. 3 nail polishes Please excuse the colors. Ambry was with me and those are the ones she picked out. Quite colorful, to say the least. On sale for $.99 each
  2. Hubba Bubba gum, again courtesy of Ambry $.99
  3. 2 Pantene Pro-V shampoo marked down from $6.19 to $.61 !!!
  4. 2 Pantene Pro-V conditioner marked down from $6.19 to $.61 !!!
  5. 1 CVS cleansing facial wipes for $2.99
  6. 1 24/7 men's deoderant on sale for $3.99
  7. 1 water...again, for Ambry $1.19 This is what happens when I bring her with me to places. I should know by know that she is either going to die from hunger or perish from thirst and remember to bring these things with me!
  8. 1 4x6 photo book on sale for $3.99
  9. 1 6x8 photo book on sale for $7.99

Came to $48.97 worth of stuff(before clearance prices). I had $12.50 in coupons, used $13.00 in ECB's, paid $1.34 in cash, and got back $14.98 in ECB's. Seriously, have I mentioned that I LOVE CVS?!?

I could have split this transaction up and done even better, but I wasn't taking any chances on Ambry dying from hunger. I just know she would have spotted those peanut M&M's if we would have been there for a minute longer. Poor child...she is just wasting away. :)

If you have not become addicted to shopping at CVS yet, or would like to become addicted to shopping at CVS, please do not hesitate to shoot me an email with questions. I highly recommend it to all those who either like to have lots of fun items, like to save money, or just like to find some great bargains. Also, it is very good at fixing those "need to spend some money" urges. Or maybe I'm the only one who gets those. :)
