I think it is so cute how Piper has her arm around Ambry...sort of. Like she says, "Lub Bry!" (which of course means love Ambry--she calls her Bry).
See Piper's baby on the left hand side of the pic? She can NOT be without her baby. It is either that baby or her purple bunny that goes to bed, to the store, to church, you name it, those baby's will be right there next to Piper. :)

And the "after pics". Check out these two, little, messy girls. Natallie could have cared less that she was dirty. Piper on the other hand...not impressed. She kept saying, "Oh, no, no, no, baby. Naughty!"
This was also a good way to get rid of some of the gift boxes I still had from Jen's shower this summer. Quick and easy fun for all the kids. :)

- Woo hoo for CVS deals. I got a ton of stuff this week for my money. I am trying to get rid of some ECB's so I don't have to worry about them expiring, so I used way more than I usually do.
Here is what I got:
- Crest toothpaste
- 2 Clorox bleach
- 1 Clorox wipes
- 7 Schick razors
- 2 packs of sunflower seeds for Caleb and Amrby
- 1 pack of Huggies
- 1 pack of Playskool diapers
- 1 little notebook for Ambry (clearanced for .62)
- Dr. Scholl's for Caleb
- Nivea bodywash
- Ambi face cream
- 2 boxes South Beach bars
- 2 packs of Cottonelle toilet paper
- L'Oreal Advanced Revitalift serum
- 1 adidas deoderant
- 2 Hanes shirts for Jordan (clearanced for .69)
- 4 Hanes shirts for Caleb (clearanced for .49)
Grand total? Going off of sales prices, I got $116.60 worth of stuff. I used $52.98 worth of ECB's (can you see why I want to get rid of some?), I paid $5.82 in cash, and got back $37.98 in ECB's. Not too shabby! Got rid of some ECB's and in exchange got diapers and toilet paper--both of which I needed. Yeah for CVS!
If anyone needs any help, feel free to shoot me an email or leave a comment with your email address and I can tell you which coupons and such I used.

Don't know how they would do on boys... I guess I now have a fun project to work on this weekend. It will give me something to do since we currently don't have a car. Our's is still being repaired. It has been out of commission since last week Monday. Upside--saving $$ by not driving to any stores, walking Ambry to school, and not spending any money on gas. Downside--missing out on the deals, having to walk in the misty rain last week (Thanks Mom for bringing her a couple days though last week!!!), and just plain being cooped up.
Definitely a good lesson in patience. Other than that, can't complain. Everyone is healthy, there have been no more elbows out of joint, and no horribly cranky children. We are blessed. :)

I am trying to come up with some better ideas for storage in my playroom. It is not a big room and right now, it seems like the kids just keep running into each other and no one really wants to play in there for long. There are too many toys and not enough room. soooo, here is what I was thinking.
I want to do a square table instead of the one above from Pottery Barn Kids. I think all the angles and the games on top would be too overwhelming. The ottoman seats are from Bed Bath and Beyond for $19.99. The big seat would have storage room in it.
So I was thinking of doing one big square table at kids level with room for the ottomans to slide underneath and also the perfect height that the kids could stand around it instead of sitting also. I thought it would then get a little bit more storage by using the seats and also would give them an area to bring their toys to without having to take all of them out of the room.
Plus it would be fairly cost efficient. I have a $25.00 off $50.00 coupon to Bed Bath and Beyond. The wood I could get for farily cheap from Lowe's and just build myself...did I say myself? I would probably need help. :) But I am going to attempt to do all the measurements myself. Then we'll see where I get from there.
So what do you think? Cool idea, or not? If you have a different idea, please let me know. And remember this is for 4 kids, not just my 2 girls. Definitely need room for Toby and Natallie in there too!

Here is the list of what I got:
- 4 bags of Chex Mix (2 not in pic...they were all ready eaten by the animals that occupy my home.)
- 1 L'Oreal Skin care wipes
- 2 Right Guard deoderants
- 2 Soft and Dri deoderants
- 1 Revlon nail polish
- 4 balls
- 1 pair of boys sandals
- 1 package of rc cars (opened immediately when I got home by Jordan)
- 1 pair of sandals for Ambry
- 1 pair of sandals for Piper
- 4 shell shaped plates
- 5 pairs of goggles
- 1 Aussie shampoo
- 1 Aussie conditioner
- 1 Act rinse mouthwash
- 1 bubble shooter
- 1 Bayer monitor (made $5.00 in ECB's on this one!!!)
- 1 Arnicare pain gel
- 15 swim rings
- 1 baseball hat for Piper (not pictured)
- 1 football
- 1 pair of sandals for me
- 1 Renuzit triscents (not pictured)
- 2 Lady speedstick deoderants
- 1 car air freshener
- 1 small ball
Quite a big pile of loot right? So sweet! Anyway, I think that is all I bought. I had 5 different receipts! So...for the grand total...if I would have paid full price for some of this stuff...my total would have been over $300.00!!! But with things being marked down and sales and such, I only paid $6.23 in cash, used $40.46 in ECB's, and got back $36.99 in ECB's! Woot!
Such awesome deals! These kinds of purchases are why I do CVS. The deals are just too good to pass up.
And if you're wondering what I would do with all the goggles? Well, we have a pool, so those will be put to use. The excessive amounts of swimming rings? Well, again, fun for the pool. I already blew up some for the kids to play with in the house. It is so cute how they come up with ideas and games in order to use the rings. They've used them as life rings when they were lost at sea, they were used as dog's beds...I am sure they will be able to think of even more ways in order to play with them too. :)

A pic taken outside of school while waiting for the children who get bussed to school to arrive.
Ambry at her chair. She would pick the table of all boys to sit at.
I did not know what I was thinking...I sent Ambry to school wearing a spaghetti strap tank top. That sounds so naughty when you say it like that. Here I thought she looked so cute in her new little tank top and nice and cool since it was a scorching 92 and quite humid out.
But I have forgotten all about school dress codes and find that I must remind myself about the ABSOLUTELY NO spaghetti tank tops. We will also be doing the "finger check" before dressing for school also. (You know the one. All shorts must be an inch past fingertips when your arms are hanging straight down.) I think we are also going to be investing in shorter tights so that way she can wear her dresses to school too. Hopefully there are still some around since it seems that winter clothing is fast replacing summer clothes.
Luckily I was able to say bye to her for a couple of hours today (with no tears on my part and only big smiles on her's) and let her be on her own for a short amount of time. She was overflowing with stories and so happy when I picked her up. She kept saying how much fun school was and she couldn't wait to go back. We'll see how long this lasts. :) And we now have her first art project made at school. I'm going to have to start thinking of fun ways to hang all of her new pictures up now.
Hopefully tomorrow goes as smoothly as today did!
