Crazy, crazy January/February weather
The weather here has been absolutely crazy...crazy, I tell you! For example, last week Sunday, we drove to church in near blizzards and then this week Sunday it was sunny with temps near 50!
Since it had warmed up so much, Bry and Dean wanted to do some sparklers.
I just had to post this pic--ignore the messy garage and just check out Bry's outfit. Nothing says I'm stylish like wearing a tye-dye shirt with comfy shorts and winter boots. Ha! Goofy girl! :)

Oh, I am loving this weather, but I have to tell you, I am kind of missing winter. Yikes! Did I just say that? I have to say, though, that if there is one bonus to living here, it is enjoying all of the seasons, and I just don't feel like we have had a winter yet. Oh well. The 3 girls who braved the very, very cold weather on the morning after Ambry's sleepover. 8:00 a.m. game...freezing winds...yeah, it was cold.
Luckily, I am a crazy hoarder and had enough hats, coats, and gloves to clothe everyone. :)
Apparently, I need to work on capturing the jump shot. I think I will have to bribe Piper to jump for me later. :)

So glad Ambry has such good friends! No pics of all the tye dye fun. The dark and my camera just weren't cooperating. Just a few more of the kidlets...
Ambry has turned into quite the little camera poser, whereas Piper on the other hand is just a total goofball. Her posing is something totally different. She is leaning this way and that, hands on the hip, or arms folded. You name it, she tries to pose it. Oh well, that is the beauty of just taking your own pics. You know the kids personalities and even though the pic might not be someone else's idea of "perfect", it is definitely mine. I managed to get some pics of them. But, good grief, is it ever difficult to get all three of them to look at the camera and smile. And my one of my favorite pics of him. There is just something about that sweet little look he has on his face. LOVE it!
Now if I can just get Piper to take some good pics. I can't seem to get her to sit still for more than 2 seconds and even for those 2 seconds she is pulling faces or just being completely goofy. Such a stinker! And she is one that I actually need some new pics of. Oh well. With all this gorgeous weather hopefully I can persuade her to go and sit in the sun for me. :)

Reading Time

My Little Helper
Ambry is the biggest help ever. She took it upon herself to read books to Kobe so I could get lunchy ready for everyone. She kept him happy and entertained. World's Largest Cherry Pie!
Go ahead and click on the pic if you can't read it as is. Crazy how much went into this pie! All I could think was I hoped that they ate the thing. I would hate to see that many cherries go to waste! Yes, such a dork I am. :)
