A Trip to the "Beach"
It is so nice having a beach-like area to go to, especially with the weather still as awesome as it has been. I can't believe that we were able to even go there and it is still March!!

"Look, Aunt Tracy! Ducks!" Well, it didn't quite sound like that. It sounded more like "phssslke shekthsket DUCKS!"

And this was all said while he was holding the ducks food, refusing to give it to them, and chowing down on it himself. Good thing it wasn't moldy. Just a little crunchy. :)
Yeah for the awesome weather!! I'm hoping to even sneak in a little picnic this week too! What plans are you making?

Gorgeous weather=family bike rides
Dean loves his bike carrier! And I couldn't be happier that we were able to splurge and get the carrier at Costco. This carrier is a champ!

Dean LOVES the slides!

Check out that awesome hair!

Have no fear, Dean is not about ready to just fall off of my lap. It is just Caleb's awesome picture taking. I shouldn't knock his skills, I just couldn't help it when I saw these pics. :)

"Mom, cheese!"
That is what Dean says everytime he sees a camera or a phone--Caleb's phone can take pics. Seriously, love his face here. He looks quite intense.
Cheesy grin.

This kid LOVES the camera! Good thing, since I love taking pictures. :)

Crazy, crazy January/February weather
The weather here has been absolutely crazy...crazy, I tell you! For example, last week Sunday, we drove to church in near blizzards and then this week Sunday it was sunny with temps near 50!
Since it had warmed up so much, Bry and Dean wanted to do some sparklers.

I just had to post this pic--ignore the messy garage and just check out Bry's outfit. Nothing says I'm stylish like wearing a tye-dye shirt with comfy shorts and winter boots. Ha! Goofy girl! :)

Check out Dean's cheesy face! He was loving those sparklers!

Oh, I am loving this weather, but I have to tell you, I am kind of missing winter. Yikes! Did I just say that? I have to say, though, that if there is one bonus to living here, it is enjoying all of the seasons, and I just don't feel like we have had a winter yet. Oh well. I guess we will just have to make do with doing sparklers in our shorts and coats. :)

Cousins
I have been a complete slacker with my camera lately. I haven't had a whole lot of motivation to pick it up and snap pics lately. Sorry! So this is all I got right now--just a couple of cute pics of Grayson and Dean from last week.
This is Dean's facial response to me telling him to give Grayson a hug.

He finally ended up giving me a cute smile though.

Handsome little boys! Hopefully they stay as sweet together as they are now--and don't turn into little troublemakers. :)

Don't worry...more posts will be up in the next couple of days...we've been busy with the Thanksgiving week last week and crocheting and painting and school and...the list goes on...

Pics are from about a month ago when Dean had all of his beautiful curls still intact.

My New "Addiction"
I am a crocheting fiend lately and LOVING it! This was one of my first projects. A mama turtle that "poops" eggs. :) My girls think it is awesome! I made two baby eggs, 1 large egg, 1 small egg, and 2 cracked shells.

And, of course, a back shot.

My second project was this little "bear" that turned out to be more a monkey than a bear. When I got done with it, I just didn't think it looked much like a bear so I added a tail.
And last, but not least, is Dean's owl hat. Seriously, how stinkin' adorable is this hat?!?

Say it together now..."aaahhhhh!" And now I am off to get started on Piper's hat. Hopefully pics of her's to come at the end of the week. Maybe sooner...although I suppose I do need to make time to also clean my house...and take care of my kids...and do school...hmmm, maybe the hat will be made next week. :)

A series of events
Dean and a bag of Lays that he found that daddy had brought to the soccer bowl. (Don't ask me why daddy had to have a bag of Lays. It isn't like we had to bike 10 miles to get to the soccer bowl.)
Maybe if I quickly stuff my face nobody will know...
...quickly trying to chew my HUGE bunch of chips...
...uh-oh...I think I've been caught...

...OH! It wasn't me that had the chips! Look! Over there! It was Piper all along!

Hee-hee. I amuse myself. :)

Fun at Charlie's Dump, a.k.a. The Soccer Bowl
Daddy and his girl
Ambry and Piper

Dean, plenty willing to ham it up for the camera.

Getting ready to play some soccer...

...but someone forgot the baby. :)

Piper sick of me taking her pic.

Plenty willing to pose for pics though if she can get up and dance around...

...and dance some more...

...and some more!
