Note to self...DO NOT leave baby unsupervised!

Look at how happy he is with himself. Little stinker! It wouldn't have been such a big deal except that he got out all that nasty powder at the bottom of the box too. Do you know how hard it is to clean up powder off wood floor?? It was in the all the joints and everything. But at least he was happy eating the pieces off the floor while I cleaned up the rest. :)

Children's Museum

Last week the kids, Grandma J. and two of my nephews went to the Children's Museum. Our local library offers a free pass for up to 6 people once a year. It worked out perfect for all of us to be able to get to the museum.

Piper and Roman in the mirrored tube.

Piper posing...

...and again with the posing. Hilarious!
Sweet baby playing with a truck.

Ambry making bubbles.

Check out that bubble! So cool!

Kobe Dean could not be happier than when he has some balls to play with.

Now I'm off to go get my herbs going. Hopefully we will have the beginnings to our herb garden going in a few days! Also, hope to have our bean teepee going also this week. Yeah!!!

In which I "lust" after out door play things for my children...

Can you imagine the fun to be had in this beast? Someday...someday...I can just picture them out there having tea, planting their own little flowers, and setting up their own "house".

And check out this ingenous idea!! Making bean plants to grow over top of a teepee. Can you imagine the fun to be had in there by kids? And bonus! You get to harvest the beans also. How much fun and yummy!

And my last fun idea? Although I won't be doing anything quite this HUGE, I want to make an herb garden with the kids. I am torn between doing some type of container gardening or just putting all different herbs around in my landscape around my house. I think that lavender, lemon balm, peppermint, cilantro, basil, oregano, and chives would be great ones to start with. There is so much info out there on how to harvest, dry, and freeze the herbs too. I think it would be so much fun!

Side note: Piper is wondering if we can grow Pepsi in the garden. Or maybe coffee, she says. Hmmm, I think we will have to ask Grandpa about that one. :)

Any takers on making a kids play house with me? I just don't think I will be able to persuade my husband to build one this year. He is just way too busy with work. Let me know when you would like to get started! :)

Kobe Dean 11 mos. pics continued...

Ambry and Kobe Dean...twins! :)

And my one of my favorite pics of him. There is just something about that sweet little look he has on his face. LOVE it!

Now if I can just get Piper to take some good pics. I can't seem to get her to sit still for more than 2 seconds and even for those 2 seconds she is pulling faces or just being completely goofy. Such a stinker! And she is one that I actually need some new pics of. Oh well. With all this gorgeous weather hopefully I can persuade her to go and sit in the sun for me. :)

Kobe Dean, 11 mos. pics

Instead of going and having our pics taken at our local Sears or Target or where ever, I have been just going out to our backyard and taking pics out there. That way I am guaranteed to get the ones that I want and love. So far the only pics that I have missed out on is family pics. I am hoping to take some fun ones when Kobe Dean turns 1.

Hope you enjoy seeing these. There will be more to come! I love taking pics of him right now. I just can't resist those big blues!

Reading Time

Every day Ambry takes Kobe Dean to her room to read books to him. It is the sweetest thing. I happened to have enough initiative to actually grab my camera and snap some pics of them together the other day. Look at those faces! Adorable!

After the flood...

If you live anywhere around here chances are you had some pretty good "lakes" by your house. We had a good size one between the side of our driveway and our neighbor's yard. And what started out with the girls walking through it became a huge splash fest.

Piper digging her boot out after it became stuck in the mud. I'm really hoping we didn't permanently damage their yard!

Sisterly love.

Hugs from Piper turn into...

Drama! That child is such a stinker when it comes to taking pics!
And if you could only see the ones that I quick snapped in the garage when they were changing out of their clothes. Sweet Ambry and all her modesty and Piper turning around and asking me to take a pic of her butt! That child seriously spells trouble!

My hubby is so sweet!

I don't know where he found the time, but for my birthday he got my a steam mop for all of our new wood floor. I was in South Haven over my birthday and he was working about 20 minutes or so from there. So Monday morning he packed up my present and took it with him so he could give it to me down there on my birthday! Like I said, my hubby is so sweet!
